Dylan has been building for the web for over 15 years, starting with self-taught design before moving into communications, content strategy, and copywriting.
But what kept pulling him back was the space between what he built and how people actually used it. That desire path became his methodology.
Through Google's UX Design Certification, Dylan formalized what had been intuitive: people's choices follow patterns, and understanding them shapes everything he builds. He thinks in systems, seeing how content, interactions, and flows work together to create complete experiences.
He now brings this integrated perspective to UX and content design at Ancestry.
Dylan lives with his Chihuahua mix and a totally normal amount of houseplants. Outside of work, he's learning ASL and Spanish, waiting impatiently for a new Animal Crossing game, and often multiple pages deep in a Wikipedia rabbit hole.
